Austin Kleon has a great antidote when you don’t know what to share on your blog.
In his blog post, he writes:
“Make note of every dumb thought that occurs to you throughout the day. Tomorrow morning pick the thought you think is the least dumb and write more about it.”
You can do it daily, or weekly. Or even monthly. I think it’s a great way to counter our monkey mind telling us our piece sucks. We're allowed to share our not-so-smart thoughts, even unfinished ones.
I’ve also heard a great line from Ali Abdaal, which he says he quoted from Gary Vaynerchuk: Don’t create, document. Creating is hard. Sharing what you're already doing is easier.
It’s less daunting, I guess.
